Do you remember last year when I posted about wanting to become a family filmmaker? Friends, I took some major steps towards that dream in 2021!

When I was in photojournalism school at Western Kentucky University, the photo stories I worked on were my priority. People would open their homes and lives to me, and I ALWAYS felt like it was such a gift.

In 2021, six families invited me into their homes and lives. All these years later, I STILL feel it’s a gift. I hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my favorite freelance family photos of 2021.
