Year in Pictures 2019: Craig and Jade
Back in 2009, I was working on a photo story for The Herald, following goats from birth to the 4H fair. The goats belonged to the Hoffman family and Jade was the youngest daughter. I really enjoyed getting to know her and her family while working on that story and her mom even introduced me and Kevin! Fast forward 10 years, I was super excited when Jade contacted me about photographing her and Craig’s wedding!
Craig and Jade were married on September 7, at their home in Birdseye. Their wedding had a lot of personal touches to it. They were married in their backyard, surrounded by family and friends. Jade wore her mom’s wedding dress and her grandmother’s jewelry. She also had a blue butterfly pin in her hair that was her great-grandmother’s. Jade and her family handmade a lot of the decorations and the cake balls for the reception.
Craig and Jade, thank you so much for asking me to capture your wedding day!
An extra thank you to Trista Durcholz for helping me document Craig and Jade’s day! Photographing weddings is a lot more fun, and less stressful, with a second photographer. See two of my favorite images Trista took below…
