Willa Rae Grow with Me Film: One Month
Back in 2022, I received a grant from the Indiana Arts Commission to help me build a portfolio of family films. I knew I wanted to offer Grow with Me films that follow a child from birth to one-year.
I met Chelsea while second shooting a wedding for Studio Expressions by Jessica. She was pregnant at the time, and when I reached out about making a film for her baby as part of my grant project, she excitedly said, “yes!”
I’m so glad she did. I believe God puts people in your life for a reason and Chelsea has become such a dear friend and a huge voice of encouragement and support for me.
For Willa’s one-month film, the Seiberts had a treasure hunt, played in their yard, applied chalk make-up and nail polish, made cookies, and colored together. Willa went along for the ride. The Seiberts not only had a one-month old, but three other little girls. It was important to me to capture this stage of life for all four girls.
I looked back on this film, a year and half later, and it still fills my heart with joy. I hope it fills your heart with joy too as you watch it.
